Long afflicted by social unrest, political instability, and ecological exploitation, the economies of Latin America (LATAM) are now undergoing a momentous transition toward sustainability. These sustainability trends are helping to set the LATAM region on a path to attaining a net-zero carbon footprint in the long-term. The region is increasingly using the rich biodiversity and natural resources as a source of comparative advantage to drive shifts toward sustainability in its main industries.
